Americana Diner in New Berlinville

1st time there n it was awesome! Remodel was really nice n on target for a diner. More upscale though. Food was fantastic, hot, n good portions too. I live in MD so if you're in pa go n find diner n enjoy!!

Best all day breakfast around hands down. I can’t judge anything else because no matter what time I go, I’m gonna get breakfast.

It's a nice place to have breakfast and it's not costly.

Just a good simple dinner. Place is clean and staff is very friendly. They have the best country fried steak 8 have ever had.

Our go to diner! The food is consistently good. The chicken croquettes are delicious! Good sized portions most meals come with soup, salad bar, and a vegetable. Staff is always friendly.

The staff here is friendly and attentive without being overly obtrusive. The desserts are impressive. Specials are numerous & all of them very good quality & value for the money.The salad bar, while not huge, offers just about everything you'd expect, and comes with a single visit per dinner plate. Soups are hot & tasty with honest good wholesome quality without overpowering flavor to put off those with a sensitive palate. The rolls are warm & hearty, if a bit on the small side, but you're not there just for the rolls.

Very nice place to eat! Reasonable prices, delicious food and our server was absolutely great! Very attentive and not pushy at all. Made sure we were taken care of 100% of the time.

Not very good food. Very dirty and unorganized restaurant. My 1st time here and I was surely not very impressed. I don't know how restaurants like these, have so many great reviews, when their food is very average if not below average. I think that most people don't realize that they're eating low quality food, because they've never eaten better quality foods. I'm thankful that I've had the pleasure of eating real food quality meals. I now know the difference between what other people think is good and what I would rather never eat ever again. The food was tasty. Four meals purchased(all varieties of their take on the Hamburger). I decided on the "Burnout"(a doubled grilled cheese burger with an egg, lettuce, tomato, and onion. It came with french fries, slaw, and a pickle. The other bugers eaten were: the Route 100(their verion of mushroom swiss, a double burger, and a Mac and Cheese burger. All in our party were pleased. The others ordered curly fries...some lack luster there...(reportedly small(must have been the bottom of the bag). Three deserts were ordered, strawberry cheese cake, blueberry cheese cake, and carrot cake. No complaints. Desert was delicious. Two coffees ordered. First, cup was a little cold for both cups. Refills were hot though. Service was first rate. Honestly, if I could award 3.5 stars..I would. Diner was worth the 15 minute drive.

Good comfort food, sometimes with a twist. Just had the best Reuben hamburger tonight. A juicy burger with Reuben toppings. A weird twist, but really good! If you ever walk away hungry from here, YOU are doing something wrong.

First time was a good impresssion, food was good, decore is nice, Clean. The Peanut Butter Cheese Cake was delicious

When I visited the Americana Diner, everyone was very happy to see me. I ordered the Giro with French fries. The French fries were awesome but the Giro wasn't really good but because the atmosphere, the hostess, the waitress and the service were great.....I will go back there to eat again.

We stopped here for a late lunch on a cold grey November afternoon heading home on Rte 100 south.Wanted to stop at the diner with the BelAire Chevy on the roof, but discovered they only open for dinner!So we went on another mile and were happy to find the Americana Diner.It's fabulous!Meticulously clean, perfect up-keep, super friendly and fast service, and great food.Next time we travel up Rte 100 again, this will be our go-to place.

Even though it was packed, I got seated quickly and attended right away.. the food is what's expected at a diner that says its American.. the menu has a vast array of choices and what I ordered was good..

Above average food, cool atmosphere, very clean, and plenty of American cuisines to choose from. They change their art and internal style every year with the work of a very talented artist! Oh, and the waitresses are so kind!

Visited Sunday morning. We were a party of 3 and were seated almost immediately. The hostess and our server were both very friendly. Tons of breakfast choices. Food came out quickly hot and to order. Very clean inside. When we left the line was out the door. Get there before 9am on Sunday if you want to skip the wait. The parking lot can be nuts.

I went here with my nieces and the service was very good. The food was great! A man from another table gave my nieces a stuffed animal which was a really nice thing. I really enjoy the friendliness here!

I had a good breakfast and the waitress was very nice when I was there but...I bought a $50.00 gift card for my parents for Christmas and when they went right after the new year and were seated.. no one waited on them. My mom told them that they were waiting over 10 minutes and no one came to their table. They were told someone would be with them. No apology or anything. No waitress came so they got up n left. 😣 Bums me out because, I bought them this gift card and I hope they get to use it with no further problems. 🙏🏼

Staff are friendly, food is okay as long as you keep it simple, like eggs, etc. They have a salad bar, which I see as a plus.

Food was good. Typical diner food but waitress was outstanding. Was meeting an old friend for lunch and she never rushed us or made us feel like we had to leave. Excellent service and relaxing lunch. Would definitely go back again.

This was our first time eating out since Covid started. We ate outside at one of the picnic tables. It was a pleasant day to eat out as it was overcast and cool for July.The food was spectacular. I had the BLT and a Coke. My wife had the omelette and mint tea. My daughter has the spaghetti with marinara and meatballs. It was all top notch food.Dessert 🍮 was excellent also. I had cheesecake with fresh strawberries sliced on top and it was creamy and fresh.The service was unexpected, I had called in advance and was told there was outside seating, but that we could order but would not be served at the outside tables.When we arrived and ordered our waitress brought our food out to the picnic table where we were seated.I was happy to see that everyone in the restaurant and the waitress coming out was masked.We will return and try out other items on the menu later.

The Waite staff is very friendly and the food is plentiful and delicious. The prices are right with a very nice atmosphere.

This place is a typical diner. Service is good and prompt. The food is a huge portion, especially for the price. The quality of the food is decent not great but this is the kind of place you aren't going for the farm to table feel, it is a diner. For the price you can't beat it.

Outstanding home-style diner fare with great service and friendly staff. Classic diner atmosphere. Unbeatable value with generous portions at very reasonable prices. Had the Chicken Croquettes - I have had chicken croquettes in many places - these were the best I have ever had!

The food is very good and reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean. Typical Pennsylvania Dutch fare. They lose a Star due to a less than stellar salad bar. Plenty of parking.

I go every Saturday! If you go there, you will find me there. Soup is always delicious, food is always fresh and hot. Parking is never an issue, for me. They keep it clean and the servers always tend to their tables equally. I love their desserts, too. It never gets old. Take it from a girl who goes every weekend!
